Concord, NH - NHGOP Chairman Stephen Stepanek released the following statement regarding the Senate Coronavirus bill excluding businesses owned by Members of Congress, including Congressman Chris Pappas, from receiving loans or investments from Treasury programs:

“The Senate Coronavirus Bill prohibit businesses controlled by the President, Vice President, Members of Congress, and heads of Executive Departments from receiving loans or investments from Treasury programs. Congressman Chris Pappas needs to adhere to the federal law that is being passed by rejecting any federal funding for his family business and we are calling on him to make it clear that will be the case.”
